More problems for Thomas Cook

Peterborough travel firm Thomas Cook is facing new questions over its handling of the deaths of two children through carbon monoxide fumes in Corfu.

It’s emerged the manager of the hotel where Bobby and Christi Shepherd were staying in 2006 has still been working for the company – in Crete.

An electrician found guilty of unlawful killing remains employed at the Corfu complex.

CEO Peter Fankhauser has told Connect FM he raised this with the children’s parents yesterday – when he met them to apologise.
