Worker locked in a store room during a burglary at a club in Northampton

A thief stole money from a Northampton club and locked a member of staff in a store room before he fled.

The man, who was aged between 25 and 30, entered the Double Top Club in Overstone Road, The Mounts, sometime between 9am and 9.45am on Friday, March 13.

Once inside, he grabbed a member of staff and dragged her into a store room, where he demanded money from the till and a safe.

He then locked the woman in the room before escaping.

He was white, between 5ft 9in and 5ft 10in and had a foreign accent. He was of medium build and was clean shaven.
