Northampton rugby union hooker Dylan Hartley will be ineligible for England’s
first game of the World Cup.
He’s been banned for four weeks for a headbutt on Saracens’ Jamie George
during the second half of their Premiership semi-final.
Hartley, who’s in England’s training squad ahead of the tournament, is free to
play again on the 21st of September – after their opening match against Fiji.
It’s the latest in a long line of misdemeanours that’s seen the player miss around a year’s worth of games.
