Northampton shop worker in hospital after violent robbery

OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses following a robbery which happened at around 2pm today, Saturday May 30.

Two men entered the Khinda s convenience store on Collingwood Road, Northampton, and assaulted the woman who was working there while demanding money. Both of the men left on foot, running away in the direction of the Racecourse. Both offenders are described as between 20 and 30, of slim build, and one was wearing a grey hooded top. The woman has been taken to Northampton General Hospital with a possible fracture and bruising.
