The Head Teacher at a Private school in Cambridge says a full investigation will be carried out after two pupils tried to steal artefacts during a visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp.

The 17-year-old boys – who attend the private Perse School were found with spoons, buttons and two pieces of glass.

The Polish authorities fined them around 170 pounds and imposed a one-year probation order, suspended for three years.
