77 year-old woman serious after mobility scooter crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision in Brook Street, Raunds, on Saturday afternoon (27 June).

The collision happened at about 5.10pm, near the Co-op supermarket.

A blue Mercedes A Class, driven by an 80-year-old man from Huntingdon, was in collision with a 77-year-old woman who was riding a red mobility scooter.

The woman, who was from Raunds, was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.
