Police are appealing for witnesses after a car windscreen was deliberately smashed in Wellingborough Road, Northampton.
The incident happened on Tuesday (4 August) between 9pm and 9.30pm, near Costcutter.
Two men were sitting in their car, a red Volkswagen Golf, when a man came up to the vehicle, held a knife through the open passenger window and then smashed the windscreen. No-one was injured and the man walked off down a near-by alleyway.
The offender is described as white, aged 40-50, with short brown hair and a short beard.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555.
