'Unusual' items stolen in manor house raid

Items including a stuffed sheep and wicker chair in the shape of an elephant have been stolen during a burglary at a manor house in Northamptonshire.

The break in happened at a summer house in the grounds of Winwick Hall near Daventry.

Other item staken include: four Persian rugs, three dining chairs, four spindle-back rush-seat chairs, a rowing oar, Denon DVD player and speakers, a Red Bull drinks chiller fridge, 48 bottles of Brigade Port, four boxes of red and white wine (containing 12 bottles in each) and 24 X 10 bottle boxes of Budweiser beer.
