Northants announce death of 'Typhoon'

Former Northamptonshire and England cricketer Frank Tyson has died at the age of 85.

The fast bowler, nicknamed ‘Typhoon’ because of his quick pace, took 28 wickets in five Tests to help win the 1954-55 Ashes series in Australia.

Northants say he passed away in hospital in Australia after a period of ill health.
