The female pedestrian who died in a road traffic collision in Oakley Road, Corby, on Saturday evening can now be named as Lauren Partridge, 29, of Corby.
The collision took place at about 7.30pm near to the junction with Lyveden Way when Lauren was crossing the road with a 28-year-old man.
The couple were initially involved in a collision with a red Daewoo Matiz before being involved in another collision with a silver Mercedes-Benz.
Lauren was taken to Kettering General Hospital where she later died. The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry. He has since been released from hospital.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who may have any information regarding it.
