Police have named the woman who died in a collision on the A47 in Peterborough last week.

Phyllis Burton, 97, of Wingfield, Orton Goldhay, was killed when her red Daihatsu Charade was in collision with a silver Honda Jazz, on the A47 at Bretton Gate, near Peterborough City Hospital (PCH), at about 11am on October 13.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a woman in her 40s from Werrington, remains in a critical condition in Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Anyone who may have seen the collision, or the cars in the moments leading up to it, is asked to contact the road policing unit on 101.
