Corby’s Community Safety Partnership is out in force this week – tryign to tackle antisocial behaviour issues and interact with residents in the Kingswood area.
On Monday, the Community Payback team completed jobs in the area such as painting, unclear signage, and carrying out maintenance on garage doors.
Yesterday, (Tuesday 27th) and tomorrow (Thursday 29th October) they’re speaking to local residents about what matters to them in Kingswood and deliver free safety advice packs.
Throughout the week, the team will also be litter picking and today (Wednesday 28th October) a skip’s being delivered to the Kingswood Neighbourhood Centre car park for people to put their rubbish in.
Take Action will also take place rurally today outside the Corby Enterprise Centre 10.30am-12noon.
To round things off, on Friday (30th October), there are FREE Halloween themed activities with the JAM team including spells and wand making. Activities are open to anyone aged between 5-12 years old and will take place from 2-4pm.
There will also be display boards in other parts of the borough throughout the week with information and advice on safety. Display boards will be placed in the Corby Cube, Kingswood Neighbourhood Centre and Morrisons.
