Fry savours Luton FA Cup tie

Peterborough’s Director of Football, Barry Fry, says he’s excited at the prospect of facing Luton in the seocnd round of the FA Cup.

“‘It is a really good draw for us,” he told the club’s website.  We always look for a home tie and Luton are a very well supported club so I am sure they will come to the ABAX Stadium in their thousands.

“‘It is also great because obviously we have a lot of connections with Luton.  We get on really well with John Still who used to be the gaffer here and there are quite a few players who played for both clubs.

He also mentioned former players Mark Tyler, Scott Griffiths, Josh McQuoid and Craig Mackail-Smith who are all at Luton saying he was “sure” they’ll get a great reception from the crowd.  “It is a tie to look forward to,” he added.
