Today sees the start of the last week of Cambridgeshire Police`s month-long awareness campaign against domestic abuse.
The force will be focusing on Clare`s Law – named after Clare Wood who was murdered in 2009 by her ex-boyfriend who had a history of violence against women.
Under the legislation people can make inquiries about either their partner`s past, or as a third party who`s concerned about someone they know who might be at risk of harm.
Police say the easiest way to do this is by calling 101 or visiting your local police station.
