Cambridgeshire Police have revealed a drink driver has been convicted – just two days after losing his licence for a previous offence.
24 year old Raimond Glauda was arrested at about 6.20am on Monday, November 23, in Wisbech after the Nissan X-Trail he was driving veered off the road onto a grass verge, colliding with a white Rover 25.
A breath test showed 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his breath; the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Glauda was later charged, along with driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and was given a three-year driving ban.
He has also has his Nissan X-Trail seized, was ordered to pay a £260 fine as well as spend Christmas behind bars while he serves a six-week prison sentence.
