Attempted abduction

An 18-year-old woman was approached by two men in Regent Street, Kettering, who tried to pull her towards a car.

The incident happened close to the junction of Crown Street on Saturday, 12 December between 5.30am and 6am.

The woman was walking alone in the direction of Rockingham Road when the two men approached her from behind, grabbing her arm and attempting to pull her towards a car, a light-blue 5-door vehicle, similar to a new-style Ford Fiesta.

The victim managed to break free and run away without injury.

The offenders were both white. One was about 35-years-old, 6ft tall with a slim build and dark-brown eyebrows, dressed all in black. He wore a woolly hat, a jacket, trousers and gloves and had an Eastern European accent.

The other was around 5ft 8in tall with a heavy build and dark stubble. He wore a black hoody with white stripes along the arms, black and white trainers and a back woolly hat.
