Slight rise in callouts by ambulance service over Christmas

The East of England Ambulance Service received more than 6 thousand calls between 7pm on Christmas Day and 11pm on Boxing Day.

That’s down very slightly on the same period last year but still well up on 2013-14.

In Peterborough and across Cambridgeshire, there were 804 – that’s two up on last year.
