Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at the Co-op supermarket in Gladstone Road, Desborough.

At about 9.30pm on Monday (15 February), three men broke into the shop through the back yard and forced a member of staff to open the safe. They stole cash and cigarettes.

The men were all wearing dark clothing and were holding what appeared to be crow bars.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with any information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
