A Peterborough police officer has been found guilty of assault.
PC Symian Traer-Goffe, 46, who is based at Hampton Police Station, was found guilty of two counts of common assault, which took place in October last year.
Following the trial at Luton Magistrates Court on March 4, he was ordered to pay a £750 fine, £650 costs and a £50 victim surcharge. He was also given an eight month restraining order.
PC Traer-Goffe remains suspended from duty pending consideration of police misconduct matters.
