Speedway – Peterborough have named Jason Attwood as the club’s new team manager.
The former Leicester and Belle Vue chief will take charge for the first time tomorrow night when Panthers travel to Plymouth for a Premier League clash.
Attwood is the permanent successor to Carl Johnson, who stepped down from the post last month.
His task is to ensure Peterborough reach the play-offs to be in a position to challenge for the title.
The appointment follows the signing of Great Britain international Craig Cookwhile Number eight Tom Stokes has been promoted into a fully-fledged reserve role with Nicklas Porsing and Michael Palm Toft both making way.
