The Conservatives are celebrating after taking control of Peterborough City Council.
They were already the largest party but they now have a majority after taking 31 of the 60 seats up for grabs yesterday.
UKIP and Labour lost one seat each while the Lib Dems gained 5.
The election was the first ‘All Out’ ballot for more than a decade.
In Northamptonshire, only Daventry had a local council election yesterday.
Labour gained one of the twelve seats being contested.
The results of the Police and Crime Commissioner elections for Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire are due later.
