Charlotte to quit as skipper

Cambridgeshire’s Charlotte Edwards is apparently planning to announce that she’s standing down as captain of the England women’s cricket team.

Reports suggest she’s to relinquish the role after a decade as skipper.

She guided England to the Women’s World Cup and World Twenty20 titles in 2009.

They’ve also finished four Ashes series as holders.
