Work`s due to get underway soon to improve three major roads in Peterborough.
The first to get underway will be the resurfacing of the Longthorpe parkway, A1179. The overnight works are due to begin on Monday 16 May and will last for approximately six weeks.
Overnight resurfacing works will also take place on a stretch of the Nene parkway, A1260, between the Thorpe Wood roundabout (junction 15) and the Hampton roundabout (junction 3). Works will begin on Monday 13 June and last for seven weeks.
A major project to ease traffic congestion at junction 20 of the Paston parkway, where it meets the A47 Soke parkway, will also begin this summer. An exact start date will be announced in the coming weeks.
