Police step up patrols for Euro 2016

Cambridgeshire Police say they`ll be stepping up patrols in Peterborough city centre and in other towns and cities across the county during Euro 2016.

The force says the extra officers will help keep the peace and maintain safety before during and after England games and other significant fixtures.

The tournament gets underway in France tomorrow.

Police have enforced football banning orders on 20 people, 11 from Peterborough and nine from South and East Cambs.
