Northamptonshire Police have launched a knife amnesty.
The force says the scheme, which runs over two weekends this month, will help cut violent crime.
The idea is for people to ring up and make an appointment to hand over their weapon.
The amnesty is taking place as part of Operation Scorpion, a three-month operation to tackle violence across the county.
To book an amnesty appointment, call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
