The assault happened between 6.45pm and 7pm in the Drapery, when the victim, a 27-year-old man, was grabbed by two men outside McDonalds and then punched and forced into a vehicle, believed to be a VW Passat.

The offenders were both white men. One of them is described as being in his 30s, about 5ft 8in with a stocky build. He had short blonde hair and a beard and was wearing a grey top.

The second man is described as being about 5ft 1in, with a medium build and in his mid to late 20s. He had short dark hair and dark facial hair.

The victim was then driven to the Kings Heath area and further assaulted by two or three men.
