CCTV released after knifepoint robbery

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Peterborough.

Two men wearing balaclavas entered a betting shop on Four Chimneys Crescent in Hampton Vale, at about 9.40pm on Sunday night (June 19).

One of the men, who was wearing dark clothing and brandishing a knife, threatened a customer and member of staff and ordered them to lie on the floor.

The other man, wearing white and black, then went behind the counter to steal money from the tills.

The pair made off in a silver Mercedes two seater sports car along Westlake Avenue and onto Nature s Way.

Anyone with information is asked to call DS Mallows at Thorpe Wood Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
