A 13-year-old boy was assaulted as he walked home from school on Tuesday, 5 July.
The teenager was walking in Abington Park Crescent, opposite Abington Park, between 4pm and 4.40pm, when he was approached by two other teenage boys. One asked the victim what he was looking at before punching him in the face and back of the head.
The offender then demanded the 13-year-old hand over his watch and to empty his pockets, at which point members of the public intervened and the offenders made off.
The first offender was black, about 15 and around 5ft 8ins, of medium build with short black hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black jacket and tracksuit bottoms and was on a black mountain bike.
The second offender was black, about 15, around 5ft 9ins and of slim build. He was wearing a blue Nike cap, black tracksuit top and black bottoms and was also riding a black mountain bike.
