A Peterborough doctors surgery has failed a Care Quality Commission inspection for the second time in a year.
Dogsthorpe Medical Centre has been placed in special measures as a result – and could be closed down if it doesn’t improve.
The centre was rated as inadequate for safety, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership.
The report also says overall care at the site requires work.
The Chief Inspector says not enough has been done to make improvements since the previous checks in May 2015.
Feedback from patients and other NHS staff was poor – and worker levels were also found to be unstable.
The facility now has six months to make changes – or risk closure.
