Three local men have been sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court for their part in a burglary at Betfred bookmakers in St Leonards Road, Far Cotton, which happened on the night of Friday, 17 April 2015.
Daniel Marsden, 31, was given a four-and-a-half year sentence for the burglary. Karl Tulloch, 30, was given a 38 month sentence and a further 10 months for other offences, giving him a prison sentence of 48 months.
Mark Grimbley, 29, was handed a 30 month custodial sentence for the burglary.
In the incident, the offenders gained entry to the bookmakers by cutting a hole in a breeze block wall. They stole a safe and its contents of £4600.
A fourth man, 30-year-old Colin Mosdell, is due to be sentenced shortly in connection with the incident.
