A Cambridgeshire mother is calling on the NHS to offer chickenpox vaccinations more widely after her two-year-old son fought a severe case of it.

Jasper Allen spent five days in hospital after his sores caused by the disease became severely infected.

The immunisation is only available to certain children on medical grounds.

But his mum Sarah says ministers need to seriously rethink eligibility.
