Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a pub in Kettering town centre.

The 21-year-old victim was with a group of friends when, after a brief conversation with two men, he was punched in the face by a third man and knocked unconscious.

The alleged incident happened in Remi s Bar in Dalkeith Place, on Sunday, 31 July, between 1am and 2am.

The offender is described as white, 5ft 9in to 6ft, with a medium build and ginger hair.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
