Ambulance patients face long A & E delays

Figures reveal the number of patients kept waiting in an ambulance for more than an hour outside hospitals in the East of England which includes includes Peterborough and Cambridgeshire has more than tripled in the last two years.

The statistics-obtained by the Labour Party-  show it happened more than 13 thousand occasions in 2015 compared to more than 8 and a half thousand in the previous year and more than three and a half thousand in 2013.

Labour`s called the figures shocking but NHS England says it’s doing its best to minimise delays.
