Day of action in town

The Corby Community Safety Partnership will be out in force at ASDA, Phoenix Parkway, Corby today and will be keen to engage with residents about what they should prioritise for the year.

Members of the team will be present in the entrance of the supermarket from 12noon-6pm and would encourage shoppers to stop and have their views heard.

Do you know of an area that could do with a clean up? Want advice on how to feel safe within your community? Or maybe you just want to chat to our Community Wardens and hear about the work they do around the borough on a daily basis. Whatever is it, come along for a quick chat, pick up a newsletter and meet your local officers.

Deputy Leader of Corby Borough Council, Cllr Jean Addison, said:

“Through public consultations and community meetings we are able to highlight the top priorities of residents within local areas and we want to do all we can to tackle the issues.

“These events are always a great success where residents are bound to pick up some useful advice and information.”
