Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed a robbery in Burton Latimer on Tuesday, 28 February.

At around 6.45pm, two men went into the One Stop shop in Churchill Way, while a third man was seen waiting outside. One of the men that went inside the store jumped over the counter and took cash from the drawers of the Post Office till. The second man jumped over the shop counter, took cigarettes from the shelves and put them in a basket on the floor. The first man then used a crowbar to force open the main store till and took cash.

Both of the men then jumped back over the counter and ran out of the shop, followed by the third man. They were seen getting into a silver Volkswagen Passat which was parked in Churchill Way and then drove off.

The first offender is described as a white man wearing a navy hooded top with the hood up, a green covering across his face, gloves and carrying a crowbar. The second offender is described as white, also wearing a navy hooded top with the hood up, a dark green gilet, covering over his face, jeans and gloves. The third man is described as wearing a North Face jacket, a dark hooded top with the hood up, white covering across his face, and gloves.
