Westminster terror attack; Local MP`s all safe

London’s worst terror attack in more than a decade has killed five people – and injured around 40.

The attacker is among the dead.

He drove a vehicle into pedestrians on a bridge before stabbing a policeman at Westminster.

Police believe he was inspired by Islamist-related international terrorism.

They’re looking at whether he’d worked with others.

He stabbed to death 48-year-old police officer Keith Palmer – who was a husband and dad.

Parliament will meet as normal today but the Queen’s planned visit to the Met Police’s new HQ has been postponed.

Meanwhile all of our MP`s representing the Connect FM area tweeted to say they were safe during the incident.

They`ve all offered their condolences to the victims and their families and friends.
