Health boss defends new organisation

The boss of a new health organisation that serves Peterborough is insisting patients shouldn’t see any changes.

On Saturday the trusts that ran PCH, Stamford and Rutland Hospitals and Hinchingbrooke in Huntingdon joined forces to form the North West Anglia NHS Trust.

Chief Executive Stephen Graves says coming together was about sustaining existing services and developing them and not cutting them.

He explained if any changes were made in the future they would have to be consulted on.
