The Conservatives have retained control of Northamptonshire County Council – and have increased their majority.

With all fifty-seven wards now declared, The Conservatives have forty three – up seven on 2013.

They’ve taken seats in Higham Ferrers and Earls Barton.

Labour finish up one on twelve – The Lib Dems drop from six representatives to two – and UKIP have lost all three of their seats.
