More knives taken off the street

Cambridgeshire Police say 105 knives have been taken off the streets of the area during an amnesty.

Everything from kitchen knives to swords were placed in bins at police stations in Peterborough and across the county in the first week of last month.

The force says these types of campaigns play a positive part in raising awareness and taking weapons off the street.
