Locals recognised in Queen`s Birthday Honours

A number of people from the connect FM area have been recognised in the Queen`s Birthday Honours.

Among them in Northamptonshire are Jane Rintoul who gets a CBE for public service and Doctor Robert Lewis who receives an OBE for services to Science Applied to Sport.

Among those recognised in Peterborough are Tasha Dalton a young people’s tutor at City College who gets a British Empire Medal for her services to further education,  Principal of City College Pat Carrington who receives an MBE for services to further education and the communities, and Janet Dullaghan head of commissioning for child health and wellbeing at the City Council is also made an MBE for services to children.

Also Detective Sergeant Amerjit Singh from Cambridgeshire Police has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Police Medal for his dedication to protecting the most vulnerable.
