New signing for Panthers

Peterborough have turned to Josh Grajczonek to fill their number one berth in a mouth-watering East Anglian derby showdown this Sunday.

The Sheffield ace will step into the ‘T Balfe Construction’ Panthers side for their SGB Championship clash against Ipswich at the East of England Arena (5pm).

Peterborough are without Chris Harris due to his selection for the Great Britain team to take part in the World Cup, but team boss Carl Johnson believes they have an able deputy.

Johnson said: “Josh is a terrific rider who has been absolutely flying of late. He always rides very well at our place as well and we’re delighted to have him on board for a massive meeting.”

Grajczonek’s fine form is highlighted by the fact he is one of only three riders to have beaten red-hot Peterborough star Jack Holder at the East of England Arena in the past month.

Peterborough have booked Glasgow man Richie Worrall to fill in for Harris in the rearranged trip to Redcar next Thursday (July 6) while Ben Barker will step in at Glasgow on July 8.
