A scheme designed to reduce reoffending in Cambridgeshire has marked its one year anniversary.
The project was initially trialled in Peterborough.
Police attempt to tackle the issue by offering conditional cautions – which allow authorities to work with individuals to steer them away from crime.
Support includes treatment for alcohol or drug abuse, anger management and employment and training support.
Three hundred and fifty of the cautions were issued in the first year – a spokesman says it’s helping to turn people’s lives around.
