The Peterborough branch of the NSPCC says protecting vulnerable youngsters in the city and throughout the fens is their top priority.
Connect has been to the Peterborough branch of the childrens charity to find out more about the work they do.
They say after a number of high profile cases of child sexual exploitation in the city, they work closely with those that could be at risk.
Children have told them after they’ve been supported by them they’ve been able to get on with their lives.
As the organisation is a charity, they say they welcome donations and are also inviting people to come up with ideas on how funds can be raised.
