Police have launched a fresh appeal for information to try and solve the murder of a young boy in Peterborough almost 21 years ago.
Rikki Neave, who was six at the time, was last seen leaving for school on Monday November the 28th 1994 from his home on Redmile Walk in Welland.
His body was found in a wooded area off Eye Road near Willoughby Court the following day.
A post mortem revealed he’d been strangled.
His mother, Ruth Neave, was cleared of murdering her son but served a jail sentence for child cruelty.
