An iPad which allows a disabled man to communicate has been stolen in Peterborough.
The victim was in Park Road on Tuesday, August 25, at around 10.40pm when the theft happened.
The victim asked a man cycling past for a light at which point the man on the bike stopped and snatched the iPad from the victim, who was in his wheelchair.
The thief rode off towards the Park Rd/Burghley Road roundabout and then along Broadway towards the cemetery.
The man is described as Asian, about 35 to 40, skinny with short black hair and stubble. His bike was blue.
He was wearing a dark jacket with a high-visibility vest over it. He was also wearing dark trousers and white trainers.
PC Kevin Foxcroft, investigating, said: “This was a callous act and the person responsible has taken away the victim s only way of communicating.
“I would urge anyone who has information about this theft to contact police.
