There’s mixed news concerning Fairline Boats.
It’s out of administration and has a new owner.
Fairline Acquisitions will remain in Oundle but close its factory in Corby.
The firm is controlled by two long-term UK-based Russian investors with experience in marine business and in the production of high-tech products, IT and Media.
Bosses say they’ll complete outstanding orders and expect to resume production after completing an assessment of the range of boat models.
Prior to entering administration the company employed 446 staff but is likely to only retain a quarter of that number.
