Peterborough rail enthusiasts are enjoying a rare double treat.
The legendary Flying Scotsman came through the city last night after a 10 year refit costing more than £4 million.
And, scores of people turned out for the return journey as it made its way back from London King’s Cross to York on its first official run.
It’s green livery reflects how the engine would have looked during the 1950s and 1960s.
