The number of emergency calls to the ambulance service that covers Peterborough over the Easter weekend was up compared to the holiday period last year.
The East of England Trust says almost 1,700 people rang 999.
That’s up from just over 1,400 12 months ago.
Saturday was the Trust’s busiest day of the Easter weekend.
The service responded to almost 1,300 falls.
Almost 350 choking cases were reported to the Trust between 25th to 28th March.
