A committee of MPs, including Peterborough’s Stewart Jackson, is criticising government plans to extend the Right To Buy scheme.
They say it’ll mean valuable housing stock is lost and could end up costing the taxpayer billions of pounds.
The Local Government Assiociation claims it’ll cost £6 billion over the next four years, as almost 100,000 households take up the offer.
There are also fears homes won’t be replaced with affordable ones.
The issue’s due to be debated next week.
