It seems house prices have jumped to a new record high to just over £308,000 in England and Wales.
The property website Rightmove says some towns have seen “eye-watering” increases.
The average price tag for a property with up to two bedrooms has gone up by over £1100 month-on-month.
In Northamptonshire, they’ve risen by 8.1% to £146,132.
In Peterborough, they’re up 5.4% to £143,660.
